In a meeting of the Japan Art History Society in 1957 the present author already pointed out that there are now some portions out of order in this work which is owned by the Kankikōji, Kyoto. In the present paper, he discusses this problem and also introduces old copies of this scroll which are preserved in the Mieidō-Shinzenkōji, Kyoto, and the Maeda Ikutokukai Foundation, Tokyo. The author uses these copies as materials for reconstructing the original order of the Kankikōji scroll.\n These discrepancies in order are found in Vol. 3 and Vol. 6. The former is in its first illustration. The scene of Shingū comes first and those of Nachi and Hongū follow. But this is not the order of Medieval pilgrimage and articulate pictorial discontinuities are therefore apparent. It should be corrected to the order 0. Hongū, Shingū and then Nachi as is shown in the Mieidō copy. In the sixth volume the text for the first illustration does not continue at the end of one of the silk sheets which are assembled to form a scroll and there is no relation between the third illustration and its text. According to the author's restoration, the portion of the text which now follows the. third illustration (the story about Priest Takuma) should come in the last half of the text for the first illustration, and the present third illustration showing the scene of Ippen's preaching at the Katase Beach near Kamakura should be the first illustration. Also, the last half of the text for the first illustration (the story about the visit to Mishima Shrine) should be the text for the second picture which is now mounted as the first picture (the picture of Mishima Shrine). In other words, the present second illustration and its text should be the third ones. \n Next, he discusses the problems of the abovementioned copy. Originally, both the Mieidō copy and the Maeda Ikutokukai copy were owned by the Mieidō-Shinzenkōji and formed one set. This is a copy of the Kankikōji-scroll and almost all of the twelve rolls which belonged to the set are preserved except Vols. 5 and 6. Vols. 3, 7 and 8 are in the Mieidō-Shinzenkōji and Vols. 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12 are now in the Maeda Ikutokukai. Vols. 1-4 are coloured and Vols. 7-12 are drawings in black Indian ink. But it is apparent that these latter volumes were intended to be coloured as well. This version is, however, not an exact copy, but a copy with free changes in details and parts of composition and, judging from its style and manner of painting, it is a work of a conservative painter at the end of the 14th century or at the beginning of the 15th century.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"宮, 次男"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Miya, Tsugio","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-10-04"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"244_1_Miya_Redacted.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"21.5 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"244_1_Miya_Redacted.pdf","url":"https://tobunken.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/6665/files/244_1_Miya_Redacted.pdf"},"version_id":"a78394c8-a117-41d7-af1e-a234293010b2"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"一遍聖絵(巻二菅生の岩屋に参籠・東京 前田育徳会蔵)・一遍聖絵(巻八聖徳太子の御陵に参籠・京都 御影堂新善光寺蔵)絵巻","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Ippen Hijiri E Scroll, Owned by the Maeda Ikutokukai Foundation, Tokyo / Ippen Hijiri E Scroll, Owned by the Mieido Shinzenkoji, Kyoto","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"一遍聖絵の錯簡と御影堂本について","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"一遍聖絵の錯簡と御影堂本について"},{"subitem_title":"Problems of the Original Order in the Ippen Hijiri E Scroll and its Copy","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"3","path":["1119"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2017-10-05"},"publish_date":"2017-10-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"6665","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["一遍聖絵の錯簡と御影堂本について"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":3},"updated":"2023-05-15T14:20:17.668449+00:00"}
