However,holes and insect feces can sometimes give information of activity and probable species. Feces of major wood-boring insects were collected in the large-scale survey of historic buildings in Nikko conducted in 2010. Five species of Anobiidae were found in the survey: Priobium cylindricum, Trichodesma japonicum, Sculptotheca hilleri, Hadrobregmus pertinax and Oligomerus japonicus. Insect feces of 4 of these species were collected from damaged wood and observed.\n It was found that feces of Priobium cylindricum and those of Hadrobregmus pertinax are similar and they appear powdery to the naked eye but a closer look reveals them to be irregular in shape. Feces of Trichodesma japonicum are very similar to feces of Nicobium hirtum, but generally bigger in size. Feces of Sculptotheca hilleri also appear powdery to the naked eye, and when they were observed under a microscope it was found that many were globular shaped. As feces of Sculptotheca hilleri have characteristic shape and size when compared with those of other species of Anobiidae,it is likely to identify them from feces alone.\n Information other than those of feces, such as the sizes of holes and distribution of insects, need to be taken into consideration when making more precise identification although insect feces can provide good clues for insect identification.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10001_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.18953/00003826","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"小峰, 幸夫"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"木川, りか"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"林, 美木子"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"原田, 正彦"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"三浦, 定俊"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"川野邊, 渉"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"石﨑, 武志"},{"creatorName":"[石崎, 武志]","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yukio, KOMINE","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Rika, KIGAWA","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Mikiko, HAYASHI","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Masahiko, HARADA","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Sadatoshi, MIURA","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Wataru, KAWANOBE","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Takeshi, ISHIZAKI","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-07-31"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"05114.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"5.5 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"05114.pdf","url":"https://tobunken.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/3836/files/05114.pdf"},"version_id":"9fda69cb-c3ed-46da-9242-e224737545cf"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"シバンムシ","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"オオナガシバンムシ","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"クロトサカシバンムシ","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"チビキノコシバンムシ","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"エゾマツシバンムシ","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"歴史的建造物","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"虫糞","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"death watch beetle; Priobium cylindricum; insect feces; Trichodesma japonicum; Sculptotheca hilleri; Hadrobregmus pertinax; historical buildings","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"〔報告〕日光の歴史的建造物で採取した虫糞調査:シバンムシ科甲虫各種間の虫糞形状比較","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"〔報告〕日光の歴史的建造物で採取した虫糞調査:シバンムシ科甲虫各種間の虫糞形状比較"},{"subitem_title":"Survey of Insect Feces Gathered at Historic Buildings in Nikko : Comparison of the Shapes and Sizes of Insect Feces of Some Species of Anobiidae","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"3","path":["525"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2017-07-31"},"publish_date":"2017-07-31","publish_status":"0","recid":"3836","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["〔報告〕日光の歴史的建造物で採取した虫糞調査:シバンムシ科甲虫各種間の虫糞形状比較"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":3},"updated":"2023-05-15T15:43:08.626954+00:00"}
