In this study,we researched the adhesive effect of Uchibake by using Auto-graph and SEM,As a result of adhesive strength test,Japanese papers showed stronger adhesion with Uchibake than without,while Western papers showed stronger adhesion without it.SEM observation of test pieces showed that the fibers were not intertwined but strongly pressed against each other,mainly on Japanese paper. It is confirmed that although Uchibake is not necessarily effective for all kinds of paper,it is effective for Japanese paper which is constructed of long fibers and whose surface is not smooth.This difference suggests that forces for adhesion in Japanese paper and Western Paper are not the same.}, pages = {9--16}, title = {装潢における打ち刷毛の効果―接着力を中心に―}, year = {2004} }
